Behind the Camera
Hello! I'm Krista - wife to my best friend, homeschooling momma to two, fun boys and one, precious daughter. I am a Buckeye (Ohio born & raised) living in South Carolina for the past 15 years. Warm(er) winters, sweet tea, and terms such as 'y'all' are now home to me. I enjoy most of the stay-at-home mom favorites including Target runs, coffee, and date nights. I love a good hike, watching football, swimming, and traveling to new (and old, loved) places. I am incredibly grateful for my church, my God, and my community that surrounds and supports my family.
I discovered my love for photography before I even knew I could make it my dream "job". My grandmother bought me a camera when I was in middle school and the magic of being able to freeze a moment in time, from my own perspective, was like icing on the cake. After having children, I realized the blessing of freezing those moments in a way I couldn't have understood before. This took my photography journey to a new level as I began taking my camera with me to sporting events, family gatherings, the park, you name it! I love capturing my own children and have come to realize my passion for photographing people, places, nature, and anything else beautiful. My goal is to capture life as it happens, and it is my joy to do the same for my clients.
